Description

Senior Program Analyst responsible for establishing and overseeing policies to remove barriers to agencies' use of AI while managing AI risks. Duties: - Support Federal-wide efforts to assess agency AI challenges - Review agency-specific and Federal-wide AI policies, procedures, programs, and budgets - Support external engagements regarding agency use of AI - Review AI legislation and provide information regarding Federal AI issues to White House leadership - Brief Congress on state of Federal AI - Coordinate with OMB Resource Management Offices - Engage with Chief AI Officers Council and interagency committees - Oversee performance of agencies providing AI guidance (NIST, GSA) - Review agency AI activities - Update reporting guidance to agencies - Prepare and analyze written Federal policy analyses and policy option papers

Requirement

- U.S. citizen or national - Drug testing required - Security clearance required - GS-14 specialized experience: 1 year at GS-13 directing/participating in AI policy formulation, risk management, collaborating with diverse stakeholders on policy/legislative development - GS-15 specialized experience: 1 year at GS-14 leading AI policy processes, leading multidisciplinary working groups
